European knowledge transfer professionals seeking an intensive training program and a credential take note: The Association for University Research and Industry Links (AURIL) and The Open University Business School have collaborated on a joint award — a Post Graduate Certificate in Knowledge Transfer that AURIL says is the first of its kind in Europe. The program has awarded graduate certificates to 40 professionals since its inception in 2005. It involves approximately one year of part-time study in the form of both traditional assignments/examinations and an individually negotiated work-based project.
