We’re not sure how serious the effort is, but we couldn’t resist the latest idea for boosting “open access” to IP. It’s a sticker designed to be placed on the back of a driver’s license, much like an organ donor notification, declaring one’s intention to donate any intellectual property to the public domain upon death (see below).
