Job Description:

This position is focused on the presentation of and completing technology acquisition needs. Experience in dealing with C level executives a must.

Skills required:

• Strong technology transfer and customer service experience.
• Ability to understand a variety of technology and marketplace needs for a wide range of industries.
• Ability to use, with dexterity, a variety of search engines and web sites to uncover potential matching technologies for the client.
• Ability to understand and determine the appropriateness of specific technologies, in consultation with science advisers, to meet client’s technology utilization or commercialization needs.

Tasks to be performed:

• Develop long term client relationships with key account executives
• Assisting in the drafting of compelling summaries to communicate the potential value of a technology acquisition opportunity
• Assembling documentation for due diligence
• Developing alternative deal structures and valuations
• Negotiating IP rights acquisition licenses with research institution
• Negotiating technology transfer contracts with clients

Experience and Education required:

• Five years Technology Licensing experience as lead negotiator.
• Advanced science, technical or business degree.
• Thorough understanding of IP contracts, deal structuring and valuations.
